Our story

I have been dealing with health and healthy nutrition for many years within my brand Wellcuisine, which I run together with my husband Thomas. But since nutrition is not just what we put in our mouths, but also what we use to care for our skin, my interest in holistic body care and natural perfumery was awakened. I completed a diploma in "Holistic skincare formulation" at the "Formula Botanica" school and one as a natural French perfumer at the "International Perfume Foundation" (IPF).

My husband Thomas and I live in southern Germany and on Mallorca. For us, the island is a magical place full of healing powers that inspires our creativity. Here I create the scents of Maison Mallorquine, our small, fine, natural perfume label, and my husband Thomas takes the photos. From us, for you, from the heart.

Ingredients and production

100% natural perfumes are very rare these days. If you go to a perfumery on the main shopping street in your city, you probably won't find a single purely natural fragrance. A natural fragrance consists of essential oils, natural alcohol and a little plant water (hydrolat). That's all.

To create one of our fragrances, we combine around 20 essential oils, which then make up the top, heart and base notes of the perfume and tell an olfactory story. We create fragrances using traditional methods. We mix by hand, let the fragrances mature for several weeks, filter and bottle. This means that our perfumes take around 5 weeks to finish. We fill the finished perfumes into handy roll-on bottles so that you can always carry them with you. They fit in every handbag and travel bag and are always available when you feel like having a personal fragrance moment.

Our philosophy

We believe that we can only live a happy and healthy life if we live in connection with nature. Our body is part of nature and immediately recognizes what is natural and what is unnatural. This is also why our body distinguishes natural from synthetic perfumes. For this reason, our perfumes only contain natural ingredients.

Why we do not use synthetic fragrance molecules:

Of the 3,000 synthetic molecules used to make regular perfumes, more than 1,200 have been labeled as "chemicals of concern." Of these, seven are known to cause cancer. Others act as endocrine disruptors, disrupting our hormone systems. Scientists have noted the link between synthetic fragrances and neurological problems such as headaches, dizziness and brain fog, especially when young people are exposed to such ingredients.

sustainability

Since we work with pure plant essences, we take care to use only sustainably produced essential oils for the sake of the environment and biodiversity.

We completely avoid plastic packaging. Instead, we package our fragrances in a cotton bag that can be used to store the fragrance in your bag.

When the fragrance is used up, you can recycle the bottle by removing the cap and the roll-on attachment and putting both in the recycling bin and disposing of the bottle in the glass waste.
